Staff Positions

Moderator

We are looking for people that would be interested in trying out as moderators. If you apply and are accepted, you will be given a one month trial period where we will teach you everything you need to know and can prove yourself.

Responsibilities:

  • Support for players
  • Processing applications
  • Representing the server in game

Requirements:

  • Active on the server
  • Friendly and open attitude
  • Ability to stick to schedules you set for yourself
  • Basic understanding of most major mods

Junior Administrator

Additionally, we are looking for someone to help phit administrate the technical site of the server. You will work with him and learn how the server backend is structured and maintained. You will also be able to implement new systems (if you want), or improve those already in place and generally play around and learn from a Linux environment with user experience in mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating the server when a modpack updates
  • Dealing with server crashes and fixing them
  • Help implement new website/server features

Requirements:

  • Interested in learning about Linux Administration
  • Not a stranger to the console
  • Basic Experience with administrating a Minecraft Server (doesn't have to be modded)
  • Be able to read java crashlogs
  • Git knowledge is a plus
