Open staff positions

As you probably noticed, we currently only have a few staff members actively moderating and doing applications. With many new people joining we think it is time to open up staff applications.

We are looking for one to five people that would be interested in trying out as moderators.
Your main responsibilities would be: representing the server in game, support players as needed, handle reports of stolen stuff and process applications. If you apply and get accepted you will be on a one month trial in which we teach you what you need to know.

Requirements:

• Friendly and open attitude even towards minor annoyances
• Be able stick to schedules that you set for yourself
• Active on the server
• Basic understanding of most major mods

In return, you get the chance to give back to the community, be part of the server's decision making and maybe learn a thing or two.

Additionally, we are looking for someone to help phit administrate the technical site of the server. You will work with him and learn how the server backend is structured and maintained. You will also be able to implement new systems (if you want), or improve those already in place and generally play around and learn from a Linux environment with user experience in mind.

Responsibilities:

• Updating the server when a modpack updates
• Dealing with server crashes and fixing them
• Help implement new website/server features

Requirements:

• Interested in learning about Linux Administration
• Not a stranger to the console
• Basic Experience with administrating a Minecraft Server (doesn't have to be modded)
• Be able to read java crashlogs
• Git knowledge is a plus
